UFC CEO Dana White announced on January 15, 2026, that former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya (24-5) will make his long-awaited return against rising contender Joe Pyfer (13-3) as the main event of UFC Fight Night on March 28, 2026, at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
The co-main event features a flyweight title rematch between champion Alexa Grasso and challenger Maycee Barber. Adesanya, 36, nicknamed “The Last Stylebender,” returns after back-to-back losses to Nassourdine Imavov and Dricus du Plessis.
The New Zealander faces a tough test against No. 15-ranked Pyfer, who rides a three-fight win streak and carries the nickname “Bodybagz.”
