Facebook is transforming its Creator Studio into a dedicated standalone AI companion app designed to help creators more effectively grow their audiences, analyse performance, and manage content strategy on the platform.
The new app, currently being tested with a select group of creators, integrates Meta’s recently launched AI creator assistant directly into the workflow. This conversational tool offers personalised recommendations based on a creator’s content style, audience behaviour, engagement patterns, and specific goals. Instead of navigating complex dashboards, creators can simply ask questions such as “When is the best time to post?” or “What are people saying in my comments?” and receive instant, follow-up capable responses.
Additional features include an AI-powered comment moderation tool that surfaces priority comments and drafts replies in the creator’s own tone, which can then be edited or approved before posting. Upon opening the app each day, users will see a personalised feed highlighting daily priorities, including performance reviews of recent posts, progress toward growth goals, and comments requiring attention.
Meta’s upgrade is widely seen as an effort to retain creators who are increasingly splitting their time across TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. By embedding advanced AI capabilities, the company aims to reduce creators’ reliance on external tools like ChatGPT for brainstorming and analytics, keeping them more deeply engaged within the Facebook ecosystem.
The launch is part of a plan by Meta to roll out specialised standalone apps. Recent additions include Forum for Facebook Groups and Instants for disappearing photos with Instagram friends. According to reports, the company is also developing a prediction market-style app internally called “Arena.”
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly told employees that AI-driven efficiencies will allow the company to build and launch more focused apps than in the past, signalling a shift toward a more diversified product portfolio.
The new Creator Studio app is expected to roll out more widely in the coming months, depending on feedback from the initial test group.
