A U.S. Secret Service agent has been suspended after allegedly leaking sensitive security information about Vice President JD Vance, including shift schedules, protective formations, and photos taken inside Air Force Two.

The agent, identified as Tomas A. Escotto, a five‑year veteran of the service, was exposed in undercover footage released by conservative activist James O’Keefe. The video, published on January 13, prompted swift disciplinary action by the agency.

According to officials, Escotto’s suspension was accompanied by the revocation of his security clearance, a ban from all Secret Service facilities, and the introduction of mandatory counter‑espionage training for all personnel.

The breach has sparked alarm among conservatives on social media, who linked the incident to previous lapses and demanded urgent reforms ahead of the new administration taking office. Critics questioned how such sensitive details were accessed and shared, raising concerns about insider threats within the agency.

The Secret Service has not released further details on the investigation or whether Escotto could face criminal charges.

The incident adds to mounting scrutiny of the agency’s internal security protocols, with observers warning that insider breaches pose one of the most serious risks to high‑level protective operations.
